Created in 1988 in a moment of inspiration during an expedition in Africa, Globus Kon-tiki has been evolving and growing ever since.

Having tried almost every type of adventure sport, Globus Kon-tiki has specialised in offering all types of services and competitions with hot air balloons.

Flight safety.

Ballooning is a very safe activity, but we must keep in mind that we are flying and therefore depend on a device, a pilot and certain conditions.

Competitions.

Both Miquel Mesegué and Ángel Aguirre, founders of Kon-Tiki, come from the INEF, and therefore from the world of sport and competition.

Kon-Tiki was born in the middle of a climbing expedition in Africa. From the beginning, we have always been passionate about adventure, travel and balloon expeditions around the world.

Kon-Tiki Balloons

We love flying in balloons, we have made our hobby a profession. We are proud of the recognition we receive and what we are capable of doing around ballooning.

Catalonia is our territory, our main headquarters and from where we operate the most important balloon flights. Very close to Barcelona, Lleida and Girona.

Come and experience the adventure of travelling in a balloon over the area of Catalonia of your choice. You can fly all year round, each season has its own particular charm.

Assembly and inflation of the balloon, you will receive your welcome pack and participate in the preparation of the balloon.

We will fly for approximately one hour and a quarter with gentle changes in altitude controlled by the pilot, letting ourselves be carried by the breezes that will mark the path of the balloon.

The Kon-Tiki 4x4 will pick us up at the landing field and take us back to the starting point where we will toast with cava and receive the certificate and photos of the flight.

Optional extra: country breakfast in a restaurant + toast with cava.
