31st Valley Fair in Tuixent - Local and artisan products

The 31st Valley Fair returns to Tuixent, filling the village with life, tradition, and Christmas spirit. It's one of the region's most beloved events, a weekend that combines cultural activities, music, crafts, and local products in an incomparable mountain setting that makes the experience even more special.

A weekend full of activities

Saturday will begin with a rehearsal of the Ball de Llancers, a vibrant display of local festive heritage, followed by the switching on of the Christmas lights with a surprise town crier and a communal afternoon snack for residents and visitors. The day will culminate with a Christmas carol performance by the Cor Si Ve Moll choir and the Tuixent school, creating a magical atmosphere to welcome the holiday season.

Sunday is the big day: the 31st Valley Fair fills Serra del Cadí square with stalls selling crafts, local products, and quality goods. It's the perfect opportunity to discover unique pieces, do your first Christmas shopping, and support local producers. In case of rain, the fair will move to Sala Cadí, the Municipal Garage.

Culture and tradition for all audiences

The day will include a screening of the RTVE program " Beatus Ille, " dedicated to Tuixent, followed by a discussion with its creators, Marta Cáceres and Montse Cuní. There will also be traditional music by the duo La Sonsoni, filling the square with a festive atmosphere, and a communal meal and sandwiches at Can Cortina.

In the afternoon, the fair continues with a very special activity: archery by Boscaris, followed by the Valley Tournament, complete with a final prize. A fun and engaging event that delights both adults and children.

The Valley Fair wouldn't be the same without the involvement of the townspeople. That's why everyone is encouraged to decorate facades, balconies, and windows, filling Tuixent with color and warmth. It's a way to make this weekend of traditions and reunions even more special.
