Canillo Escènic Arts
This August, Canillo transforms into a large open-air stage with the fifth edition of Canillo Escénic Arts, a cultural event that brings together local and international artists in different spaces throughout the parish.
You can enjoy a multidisciplinary program that combines circus, physical theatre, dance, acrobatics, music, poetry, photography, and visual arts. The festival also includes pyrotechnic displays and light installations, transforming the streets, squares, and new venues of Canillo into spaces of creation and wonder.
The program is designed to bring the performing arts to all audiences and offer a wide variety of experiences throughout the week. You'll find family-friendly performances, visual displays, street shows, and contemporary pieces that play with movement, light, sound, and humor. Whether you're a performing arts enthusiast or simply looking for something different to do during your visit, you'll discover artists and formats that are sure to surprise you.
Among the standout performances are Olé by Paul Morocco and The Smooth Criminals, an internationally acclaimed cult show that blends musical virtuosity, improvisation, and physical comedy. Their energetic and unpredictable approach makes each performance a unique experience.
Canillo Escénico Arts was born with the desire to promote and boost the performing arts sector in Andorra, while bringing artistic creation closer to the everyday spaces of the parish.
Come to Canillo and be amazed by a week of creativity, spectacle and excitement, where art takes to the streets and transforms the landscape into a living stage.
