Roses Carnival
The Roses Carnival is back in full force, for a few days of unbridled fun!
The Roses Carnival is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year and is celebrated in the streets with unparalleled intensity. For five days, the town is filled with color, rhythm, and unbridled revelry, with a program packed with events, the highlights of which are the parades of carnival groups and the concerts.
The festivities begin with the arrival of His Majesty King Carnival and the symbolic transfer of power, an act that marks the official start of a few days where anything goes . From then on, Roses transforms into an open-air stage where the carnival groups unleash all their creativity.
The parades, both afternoon and evening, are the heart of Carnival. Along Rhode Avenue, floats and troupes fill the streets with music, choreography, and spectacular costumes, turning each parade into a true display of ingenuity and a shared celebration between participants and the public.
Music also plays a prominent role, with concerts and dances every day, featuring cover bands, orchestras, and mobile discos that guarantee a festive atmosphere well into the early hours. Frederic Rahola Square and the Municipal Sports Pavilion become essential meeting points for experiencing Carnival to the fullest.
On Monday, after intense days of celebration, Carnival bids farewell with the traditional acts of the funeral procession of King Carnival and the burial of the sardine, a satirical and symbolic ritual that puts an end to the revelry until next year.
An intense, participatory and energetic Carnival that consolidates Roses as one of the great carnival references in the country.
We're waiting for you!
