Chestnut Festival in the Barri Antic de Valls: dinner, competition, and fun for everyone!

The Old Quarter of Valls will celebrate its traditional Popular Chestnut Festival in the Cooperativa Dance Hall, starting at 8:30 p.m. This annual festival is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine and the company of locals and visitors.

The evening will begin with a communal dinner featuring a full menu of appetizers, roast chicken, chestnuts, bread, water, wine, and mistela. After dinner, there will be a panellet-making competition, where participants can showcase their culinary skills. There will also be a lively bingo session, ensuring everyone has a fun and unforgettable evening.

Dinner tickets can be purchased until October 22nd at the association's premises (Calle Carnisseria, 17), priced at €13 for members and €15 for non-members. Seating is limited, so it's recommended to purchase tickets in advance. To enter the venue, you'll need the corresponding ticket.

The event is organized by the Old Town Association in collaboration with the Valls Agricultural Society. This initiative not only promotes the tradition of the Castañada, but also fosters social cohesion and community participation. Valls, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, is an ideal place to enjoy this festival.
