'Dolça Tardor' Fair in Horta de Sant Joan
The 'Dolça Tardor' Fair is coming to Horta de Sant Joan for another year!
The 'Dolça Tardor' Fair in Horta de Sant Joan is a celebration that unites tradition, culture, and gastronomy in a weekend full of activities for all ages. The church square will be transformed into the stage for an event that highlights local flavors and customs linked to the grape harvest and wine, with activities that combine popular festivities and collective memory.
The program kicks off with a new edition of the Tapas and Wine Fair, a space where you can sample a wide variety of local products. The atmosphere will be enlivened by the music of DJ Lao, creating a festive and welcoming ambiance. The first day is a fantastic opportunity to discover local wines paired with regional cuisine, while enjoying a shared gastronomic experience.
The program continues with a classic car show, offering a glimpse of vehicles from bygone eras before the official opening of the fair. Throughout the day, the Plaza de la Iglesia will become one of the main hubs of activity, with events designed for different age groups.
Children will have their own dedicated space with a workshop inspired by the turpentine makers' pantry, an activity that will playfully introduce them to knowledge and traditions related to plants and the rural world. The afternoon will conclude with a performance about transhumance, a historical practice closely linked to livestock farming and mountain landscapes.
The day will end with a communal snack and closing festivities, bringing to a close two days of meetings and activities.
We're waiting for you!
