Horse and donkey races in the Sénia

One of the most iconic and eagerly awaited events of the La Sénia Festival, with a history dating back more than a hundred years and cultural roots originating in the ancient draught animal races. Held at the Pla de Roquillo racetrack, the English thoroughbred races and the fun donkey races have now been declared a Traditional Festival of Regional Interest.

Organized in collaboration with local groups, they are an event full of energy, participation, and a festive atmosphere that attracts young and old alike, whether as spectators or as protagonists of the popular festival.
