The Art and Technique of Dry Stone: Theory and Practice

The purpose of the course is the study and knowledge of dry stone constructions and their construction technique. One of the main objectives is to identify the different natural elements that make up the dry stone landscape, as well as to learn the relationship between them.

Tools will also be given to create responsible commitments to maintain heritage and improve its conservation. With the route of dry stone construction landscapes, contact with these buildings will be made in order to correctly develop the practical part of the course, in which the different construction methods and stone carving will be learned.

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to discover or deepen their knowledge of the rural landscape and dry stone, interested in knowing the identity of the heritage and who wants to contribute to supporting its conservation and sustainability.
