Castellar de la Ribera

The Town Hall of Castellar de la Ribera is located in an old town house. The municipality is made up of farmhouses scattered throughout the term that are grouped into four population entities: Castellar de la Ribera, Clarà, Ceuró and Pampa.

Castellar de la Ribera is a municipality to the west of the Solsonès region made up entirely of farmhouses distributed throughout the municipal area and with four population entities: the one that bears the name of the municipality, Clarà, Ceuró and Pampa. The Town Hall building is located in the first one, very close to the church.

With a clearly rural atmosphere, among the attractions of the municipality are several religious buildings dating from the Middle Ages and some examples of Romanesque style stand out. In addition to the church of Sant Pere de Castellar, which is the parish, those of Sant Andreu de Clarà stand out, with an altarpiece of great value, and that of Sant Julià, in the entity of Ceuró. In Ceuró we also find an interesting necropolis from the Middle Neolithic.
