La Torre de Claramunt

The Tower of Claramunt is an old town well oriented towards the sunrise, with a population of 3,833 inhabitants, with an area of ​​14.80 km2. It is part of the Comarca de la Anoia.

The old town is 364 meters above sea level. It is located in the lower valley of the Carmen stream, in the place where it meets the Río de Agosto that crosses the eastern and western sector. Half of the term is occupied by pine forest with some oaks and oaks, in the other half of the term, rainfed crops predominate.

The old town
