Sudanell

Inside the Sudanell Town Hall, located to the north of the town, the remains of the old terminus cross are preserved. The municipality originated in the Middle Ages, a period from which interesting architectural and archaeological remains are preserved. The Segre and Set rivers, the Torres ditch and the Seròs canal pass through the terminus.

The Sudanell Town Hall is located in the north of the town, in an eclectic-style building that combines elements of traditional Catalan architecture with others reminiscent of neoclassicism. Inside, the remains of a beautiful cross from the end of the 14th century are preserved. It is Gothic in style and you can see the image of Saint John the Baptist with a cross of the Order of the Hospitallers.

The municipality is made up of a single population center and is located eleven kilometers to the southwest of the city of Lleida. Of medieval origin, it belonged to the Order of the Hospitallers until the end of the manors. From that time, the cross at the end of the Town Hall and a necropolis are preserved.
