Vilaür
The municipality of Vilaur, of 5.6 km2. it is located in the south of the Fluvià, and is delimited to the north by the same river and the municipality of Garrigàs; to the south by the municipality of Saus and the nucleus of Camallera; to the east it limits with Bàscara and to the east with Sant Mori. The orography of the land is made up of flat land with crop fields, located between gentle elevations and small hills occupied by the forest.
Vilaür is an eminently agricultural municipality, with rain-fed crops and fodder, with some areas near the river covered with riverside tree plantations from which the wood is used. Livestock also occupies an important place in the economy of the municipality, with some medium-sized family farms. The commercial and services sector, which has an increasing specific weight, includes small family workshops and diverse industries. One of them is dedicated to the production of polyester swimming pools, two forge workshops and a stonecutter.
