Every October 4th, we celebrate World Animal Day, a day to recognize the importance of all the species with which we share the planet. Beyond advocating for the well-being of companion animals, this day also invites us to look out for wildlife, especially those that surround us and often go unnoticed.
With the aim of promoting conscious tourism connected to the environment, this initiative encourages us to discover, respect, and love the animals that inhabit the country's forests, rivers, mountains, and coastlines.
World Animal Day reminds us that respect for native wildlife is also a commitment to sustainability. Traveling through Catalonia with an attentive eye and a responsible attitude is key to ensuring the harmony between people and nature. Activities such as ecotourism, guided tours, and visits to animal recovery centers offer opportunities to learn, raise awareness, and take action.
