Chestnut Fair in Maçanet de Cabrenys
A day full of stops, activities, workshops and gastronomy with only one protagonist: the chestnut!
The Maçanet de Cabrenys Chestnut Fair has been held since 2002 on the weekend closest to November 1st, All Saints' Day, when panellets and chestnuts are a tradition.
The fair also promotes a little-known or little-used product in everyday life, which has many uses: we can find raw and cooked chestnuts, sweet potatoes and some more elaborate products such as mountain honey.
A popular walk, a local market with stalls from the Association of Small Artisan Producers and entities from the town and surrounding areas, musical performances, that and much more is what awaits you at the Maçanet de Cabrenys Chestnut Fair.
The Chestnut Fair in Maçanet de Cabrenys will surprise you with the uniqueness of its products and the explosion of colours in the autumn landscapes.
