Catalonia, a trip back in time to celebrate International Archaeology Day!
Every August 18th, the world commemorates International Archaeology Day, an opportunity to reconnect with humanity's roots. In Catalonia, this celebration takes on special significance, as the region is a true archaeological treasure trove, allowing visitors to travel back in time through unique sites.
From the prehistoric remains of the Roca de los Moros del Cogul, with its cave paintings declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, to the Iberian remains of Ullastret, the largest known settlement of this culture in Catalonia, every corner of the country preserves traces of a rich and fascinating past.
