Canoeing down the Segre River!
The Segre River once again becomes the setting for a refreshing day of sports with the ninth edition of the Segre Descent, an event designed to enjoy the river, the landscape and outdoor activity in the middle of summer.
Participants from different municipalities will meet to explore a section of the Segre River by kayak and other suitable watercraft. The activity offers a unique perspective of the river, navigating through riparian vegetation and discovering a natural environment that is part of the characteristic landscape of this area of western Asturias.
The route connects Torres de Segre, Aitona, Seròs, and La Granja d'Escarp, four municipalities linked by the river and collaborating in the organization of this event. The descent is designed as both a sporting and recreational experience, ideal for sharing with friends or other water sports enthusiasts.
Throughout the route, the Segre River takes center stage, offering the sensation of moving along its course. It's an opportunity to break from routine, refresh yourself, and discover the region from the water, combining physical exercise and stunning scenery in a unique activity.
To participate, prior registration is required from July 21st to 28th. As this is an activity in a natural environment and on the river, it is recommended to follow the organizers' instructions at all times and prepare adequately for the route.
Enjoy a summer day marked by sport, water and the discovery of the river landscape.
We're waiting for you!
