The Fiesta del Carmen takes place in mid-July and is a very important celebration for the population, especially for fishermen and sailors, since the Virgen del Carmen is considered their protector. It is a festival with a great maritime tradition that combines religious and festive elements.
One of the highlights of the celebration is the maritime procession, where an image of the Virgen del Carmen is brought in a boat decorated with flowers and other marine elements.
