Guided tour of Hostalric Castle

Hostalric Castle offers guided tours. The town's guides will show you the most iconic corners accessible only with a guide, such as the Knight's Palace, the former Cabrera castle. They will also share their knowledge with you, while you can hear the most surprising anecdotes.

Hostalric Castle is built on a basalt stone hill. There is evidence that a fortification already existed in 1145, but the surviving castle was built in the 18th century. One of the main reasons for its construction was to maintain control over a major communication route, the Ral road.

Schedules

• From 1/09 to 30/06: Saturday, Sunday and holidays at 12 noon*.
• From 01/07 to 31/08: Saturday, Sunday and holidays at 11am*.

Rates

• General rate: €7.
• Reduced rate: €5 (children aged 7 to 18, Youth Card holders, disabled people and those over 65).
• Free admission: children under 6 and Super 3 card holders (except school groups).
