Local trails of Hostalric
Surrounded by mountains with gentle slopes and with magnificent views of the Tordera Valley, in the Montseny and the Montnegre, you will enjoy a privileged environment for walking and cycling excursions following signposted paths as we propose and that run around the surroundings of the castle and the medieval orchards.
Thus, you will find two circular local itineraries that begin at the Plaza de los Toros and that will take you to discover small hidden treasures around Hostalric.
Route of the Tour of the Castle
It has a route that, passing through the old mill and through the orchards, borders the hill of Hostalric fortress to return again to the medieval site. Easy route of almost 2.5 km in length and a negligible unevenness that allows us to enjoy a different perspective to the castle of Hostalric.
It is a short walk and ideal to do with children. The layout is signposted with road signposts.
Route of the Park of the Rieras
It is a beautiful walk that, passing through the old mill and through the orchards, allows you to enjoy nature following the Tordera River to return again to the medieval site. An easy excursion to do as a family in a circular and flat circuit.
Route of almost 5 kms in length and little unevenness that allows to enjoy the fluvial patrimony and the agricultural plantations. The layout is signposted with road signposts.
