Cervera Carnival
Cervera dresses up to celebrate "El Carnaval Segrestat", a day full of fun, costumes and music!
An essential event on the festive calendar that combines tradition, creativity and participation.
The Carnival parade is the highlight of the day, starting from University Square and winding its way through several of the city's iconic streets before arriving at the Multipurpose Pavilion. Along the route, troupes, costumes, and floats transform the urban space into a vibrant stage, brimming with imagination and good humor.
The celebration features the special collaboration of Alea Teatre and the participation of the Bombollers de Cervera, who bring dynamism and spectacle to the parade. One of the highlights is the showcase, where the troupes can present their performances with greater intensity to the public.
Upon arriving at the Multipurpose Pavilion, the festivities continue with the reading of the King of Carnival's proclamation, followed by the awards ceremony, which recognizes the effort, originality, and creativity of the participating individuals and groups. Afterwards, the festive atmosphere continues with live music and a DJ set, transforming the space into a meeting point for all ages.
The Cervera Carnival is an open, free, and participatory festival, designed so that everyone can take part. It's a celebration that blends tradition and modernity, inviting everyone to experience Carnival with freedom, humor, and a desire to share the festivities in the city streets.
Don't miss it!
