Experience Christmas in Gavà!
In Gavà, the year always ends and begins surrounded by celebrations!
Gavà is preparing to celebrate the San Nicasio, Christmas, and Epiphany festivities with charm and excitement. The Garden of Dreams is the City Council's latest initiative to involve all citizens. It will be located in the Torre Lluc, reinforcing this area as the epicenter of the Christmas celebrations. The aim is to create spaces that inspire, connect, and where cultural and community life adds special value to these important holidays.
The festivities are evolving into a more comprehensive and vibrant offering, with a wide range of activities and new attractions. This allows us to maintain our traditional values while enriching them to make this period even more active and appealing. The program and decorations will cover the entire festive cycle, from the lighting of the Christmas lights to the arrival of the Three Kings.
The Garden of Dreams
The Garden of Dreams is a vibrant, dynamic, and immersive space that invites you to experience these days in a unique way. Each day will feature activities open to everyone, and every corner of the garden will transport visitors to a world of fantasy. Interactive installations will offer a chance to experience Christmas actively and through participation.
You'll also find activities and events connected to Gavà's most iconic Christmas characters: the Herald and the Heraldina. Through a story, they will guide you on this magical journey full of surprises. Each route will offer unique moments, where participants will become part of everything happening around them.
This vibrant space will transform throughout the holidays. It will evolve in phases, following a unique Advent calendar that will present new activities each day. There will be three distinct stages, adapted to the most significant moments of Christmas: from the lighting ceremony until Sant Nicasi, the period in which the bulk of the activities will begin, and finally Three Kings' Day, with the Royal Camp and the arrival of the postmen, who will collect the children's letters.
Every day, new exhibits, installations, and opportunities to interact with this fantastical world will be revealed. Among the scheduled activities are Christmas carol singing, craft workshops, initiatives from local organizations, and games for all ages.
