Amposta Trade Fair
More than 50,000 people visit the Amposta Trade Fair each year, which is celebrating a new edition!
The origins of the Amposta Trade Fair date back to the old livestock market. Some historians suggest it was already being held during the Middle Ages, although it wasn't officially established until 1825. Over the years, the Fair's dates changed until it was finally held in December, during the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was relaunched in 1960 as the Livestock and Agricultural Machinery Fair.
It has now become one of the most important trade fairs in Catalonia due to the wide variety of industrial, agricultural, and commercial offerings available to visitors. The fair is not only a space for product promotion but also a meeting point for industry professionals and a place where families can enjoy a range of activities.
Amposta is also a town with a rich cultural and natural heritage. Located in the Montsià region, it is known for its proximity to the Ebro Delta, one of Catalonia's most emblematic natural areas. Visitors can take advantage of their stay to explore the delta's unique landscapes, as well as sample the local cuisine, including traditional dishes such as rice and seafood.
Don't miss it!
