Sant Salvador de Guardiola has celebrated its Major Festival since the end of the 19th century. This holiday is commemorated by the day of the transfiguration of the Lord (Sant Salvador), which is celebrated on August 6.
The Fiesta Mayor is not very different from that of the rest of the municipalities of its size, with traditional events such as the Fiesta Mayor dance and concert, the "buscatasques", the "correaigua", concerts for young people, children's shows, sports morning, cinema, habaneras, popular foods, popular culture and the solemn service with the giants' dances, among other activities.
