Three Tombs Festival in Sentmenat

The Sant Antoni Abad de Sentmenat Commission organizes a new edition of the Three Tombs Festival. Homage will be paid to the patron saint of round-footed animals and, by extension, domestic animals, and to Sant Menna, patron saint of the town.

The celebration will begin at 9 in the morning, with a breakfast for participants and collaborators at the castle. At 9:30 a.m. the flag of the castle will be changed with the accompaniment of the Triangle de Sants brass band and, then, the priest Javier Fernández will officiate the mass in honor of Sant Antoni. Attendees will be presented with blessed rolls and, upon departure, cake and mistela.

Once all the participants are gathered next to the castle, the tour will begin with the music of the brass band. It will begin with the traditional parade from the castle with the standard bearer Lluís Lloveras and the cordonistas Cal Camilo - Lloveras. The animals will be blessed along the street. The route will pass through different locations in Sentmenat until reaching Mosén Cinto Verdaguer Street, where the members will receive a gift.
