Badalaboca! in Palau-solità i Plegamans
Palau-solità i Plegamans is once again bringing the magic of cinema to young children with a new edition of Badalaboca!, the town's Children's Film Festival. Aimed at children and young people from the age of two, the festival seeks to transform cinema into an experience of discovery, excitement, learning, and experimentation.
The program brings together more than thirty films, including short and feature-length works, with screenings designed for different age groups. The selection focuses on quality children's cinema, with stories from various countries and animation techniques that invite viewers to both enjoy the visuals and reflect on the narratives they tell.
In this edition, the content revolves especially around the acceptance of differences and identity, overcoming prejudices, solidarity, refuge and welcoming of the other, offering stories with values and readings adapted to different audiences.
Badalaboca! goes beyond screenings. The program also includes filmmaking workshops and experimentation, with activities related to light and shadow, stop-motion animation, dubbing, and special effects. Participants can discover what goes on behind the scenes and try out some of the techniques used in filmmaking.
The film screenings are free, while the workshops have a registration fee of €3.
A cultural proposal to watch, imagine, create and discover cinema as a family from a young age.
