The Coven of Cervera
Once again, the city of Cervera will celebrate the new edition of L'Aquelarre!
Aquelarre is the festival of fire, music and witches of the Tierras de Ponent, an explosion of popular culture that is celebrated in this municipality every last Saturday of August.
During the festival, Cervera is filled with life, scents, and colors during this magical and mysterious celebration, where the community becomes one big family, sharing smiles, laughter, and the excitement of an event that connects the past with the present.
The events will be spread out throughout the weekend, beginning Friday night and ending Saturday. There will be no shortage of devil dancing, music, and festivities for both adults and children. The little ones can enjoy the children's parade, the Aquerralet.
During the evening, various activities are organized, such as the making of magic potions with local herbs, fire and juggling shows, and theatrical performances of folk tales.
