National Day of Catalonia in Creixell
Creixell celebrates the National Day of Catalonia on September 11!
We are waiting for you in the Lluís Companys square in Creixell at 11am.
The Senyera will be raised by the Creixell Local Police, the Institutional Parliament of the Mayor and the Floral Offering of the Municipal Corporation, political parties, associations, entities, groups and individuals at the monument in the Lluís Companys square. And breakfast on the Rambla de les Moreres!
This date commemorates the fall of Barcelona after the siege of 1714 during the War of the Spanish Succession, when Bourbon troops took the city and abolished Catalan institutions and political freedoms.
