Popular March in the Roca del Vallès

La Roca del Vallès is preparing to host a new edition of the Popular March on Sunday, September 21st, a sporting and social activity that invites visitors to explore the municipality's natural surroundings. The approximately 12-km walk takes place along forest paths and trails, aiming to promote physical activity, contact with nature, and community participation.

The start is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. from Plaza Marta Mata and the finish point will be the Escola Mogent, where there will also be an access control. Participants will have refreshments halfway along the route, and upon arrival, the day will conclude with a communal meal consisting of "sedas" (dried meats) with butifarra (sausage) and drinks for all participants.

Registration is open to everyone, regardless of age, and can be completed by purchasing a ticket. Additionally, starting September 1, 2025, it will also be possible to register in person at Estanc La Roca and Llibreria Paperots.

The registration fee is €15 and includes participation in the walk, refreshments along the route, and a meal at the end. This is a chance to enjoy a sporting and festive experience, suitable for families, groups of friends, or regular walkers.

The Roca del Vallés Popular March has established itself in the local calendar as an activity that combines sport, nature, and gastronomy, and which contributes to strengthening the ties between residents and visitors in a healthy and friendly atmosphere.
