Sardanistic Cycle in Arenys de Mar

Come and enjoy the Sardana Cycle in Arenys de Mar, on Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the Church Square!

Arenys de Mar will once again experience this summer a new edition of the Cicle Sardanístic, a proposal that will fill the Church square with music, tradition and popular culture during the month of August.

The sardana will be the star of this series, inviting locals and visitors to enjoy summer afternoons filled with the special charm of live sardana music. It's an opportunity to reconnect, share the plaza, and keep alive one of the most emblematic expressions of Catalan culture.

The program will feature renowned groups such as Cobla Moreneta and Cobla la Principal de Banyoles, who will perform various dances throughout the month. Each event will be an opportunity to enjoy great music, dance sardanas, and experience the warm and festive atmosphere that surrounds this tradition.

The series is also an invitation to experience Arenys de Mar in a relaxed and participatory way, taking advantage of summer evenings to go out into the streets and share culture in a space as symbolic as the Church Square. Whether you are regular sardana dancers or wish to discover this dance for the first time, the performances offer an open, welcoming, and convivial atmosphere.

*In case of rain, the activities will be moved to the multipurpose room of the CC Calisay, thus guaranteeing the continuity of the program.

Organized by the Arenys de Mar City Council, with the collaboration of the Ateneu Arenyenc, the Sardani Cycle is an essential event to enjoy copla music, dance and tradition in a Mediterranean environment full of identity.
