Sentmenat's Main Festival
Experience the Sentmenat Festival!
For several days, the municipality invites you to leave your home, reconnect with people, and enjoy a cheerful and participatory atmosphere.
Culture will play a prominent role, with exhibitions, art displays, and events showcasing local talent. This year, the festival also recognizes the career of Jaume Rovira i Freixa, a cartoonist from Sentmenat and a figure closely linked to the world of comics and popular culture.
Children and families will find refreshing activities, inflatables, water games, circus performances, entertainment, and traditional games. There will also be areas designed for sports and participation in tournaments, exhibitions, treasure hunts, and events open to different age groups.
Tradition will take to the streets with giants, big-headed figures, grallers (traditional Catalan musicians), sardanas (traditional Catalan dances), and other expressions of popular culture. The correfoc (fire run) will add intensity, percussion, and fire to the celebration, while the street parades will invite everyone to continue the festivities through the town's streets.
As night falls, the music takes center stage. Concerts, cover bands, live music, DJ sets, and performances by local groups will offer something for everyone. The beachside shacks will once again be one of the liveliest spots, perfect for meeting up with friends and extending the evening.
The program also includes culinary activities, community gatherings, habanera music with rum, and fairground attractions. A fireworks display will provide the grand finale to these action-packed days.
Come to Sentmenat and experience a Fiesta Mayor full of tradition, fun and moments to share.
Don't miss it!
