The TERRA IBÈRICA historical reenactment festival returns to Calafell for another year!

TERRA IBÈRICA is a festival dedicated to promoting Iberian culture and its historical context, held at the Iberian Citadel of Calafell. This event offers a unique opportunity to discover and learn about the life and traditions of this ancient civilization that inhabited the Iberian Peninsula.

The festival has its roots in the Iberian Nights, a series of shows held between 2000 and 2007. From 2010 onwards, TERRA IBÈRICA established itself as the main event at the archaeological site, adopting a multi-day festival format. Attendees can enjoy talks, children's workshops, demonstrations, and themed tours, allowing for a complete immersion in Iberian culture.

One of the festival's highlights is its focus on historical reenactment, which serves as a means of promoting Iberian culture. Through live performances, visitors can observe what daily life was like for these ancient inhabitants, as well as their traditions, customs, and artisanal skills.

Calafell, besides being the setting for this festival, is a town with a rich history and a remarkable cultural heritage. Its location on the Mediterranean coast offers beautiful beaches and a pleasant climate, ideal for enjoying a weekend with family or friends. Don't miss the opportunity to visit other points of interest in the area, such as Calafell Castle or its old town, which also bear witness to its history.

Come to Calafell and discover the Iberians and their world!
