Popular Xatonada of El Vendrell

On Sunday 23rd February, El Vendrell will host its annual Xatonada Popular, a celebration that turns the Rambla del Vendrell into a meeting point for friends, families and xató lovers. If you like local gastronomy and culture, you are invited to El Vendrell's Xatonada Popular!

Visitors will be able to taste more than 3,000 portions of Xató, one of the most emblematic dishes of Gran Penedès. They will also enjoy the fair of natural and artisanal food products, which will offer all the ingredients necessary to prepare this culinary delight at home, as well as many other local products.

The Master Xatonaires Competition is one of the most eagerly awaited attractions: several participants will compete to make the best Xató following the traditional recipe of El Vendrell. The winner will be crowned Master Xatonaire.

During the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to enrich their gastronomic experience with various complementary activities.
