Ivars d'Urgell
Located in the northeast of the Pla de Urgell region, Ivars de Urgell and its added core of Vallverd surround Lake Ivars and Vila-sana on its northern side. It is an irrigated agricultural landscape with wide horizons, ideal for walks or bicycle rides along the surrounding rural roads. Vallverd is the closest town to the lake. With a surface area of 126 hectares, it was recovered in 2005, after it was dried up in 1951. It is an important wetland area with a notable presence of waterfowl, naturalist itineraries and facilities prepared for visits.
