Menàrguens

Province: Lleida | Shire: La Noguera | Inhabitants: 867 | Extension: 20,2 Km2 | Altitude: 205 m

In the middle of Noguera Baixa, within the triangle formed by the Segre, Noguera Ribagorçana and Farfanya rivers, is the town of Menàrguens, surrounded by fields of fruit trees and with a very interesting architectural heritage. Although it does not reach a thousand inhabitants, the town concentrates some activity in the streets, where Major Street stands out, a street that is worth visiting calmly and enjoying the architecture of its buildings.

Outside the town there are also places of interest, such as the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Cruz or the old Azucarera del Segre factory, a must-see as one of the most important points of industrial heritage not only in Lérida, but also in the whole country.
