Sant Joan de Mollet
The municipality of Sant Joan de Mollet has an area of 3.28 km² in the Gironès region. This small municipality borders on the north with the Ter, and on the south with Sant Martí Vell, while on the east it borders on the town of Flaçà, with which today it is practically united, and on the west with Bordils.
The municipal term is in general flat, although the town has been raised on a hill 54 m above sea level. The town was born around the church, in the most exalted part of the term, but in the new part it has been built around the old road.
The elevated situation of the town makes Mollet often feel the presence of the northern winds, which make its climate cold in winter, but mild and mild the rest of the year.
As more interesting places of interest, there is: Can Masó (it preserves the typical structure of the Catalan farmhouse), the parish church of Sant Joan de Mollet (it is a church with clearly Neoclassical façade, occupied in good part by a great cover) and the town square called Luïsa Ros i Masó, is the space where the main acts of the town take place.
