Torregrossa
This municipality, which until 1988 belonged to the Garrigues region, occupies a plain covered with fields and fruit trees. It has a remarkable extension and more than 2000 inhabitants. The town of Torregrossa, head of the municipality, is in the east, while the aggregate of Margalef is in the old terminus to the west. The old town or closed town, sheltered by the church and the remains of the castle, consists of narrow and winding streets, with open spaces around the church.
