Les Garrigues Gastronomic Show

The Les Garrigues Regional Council, together with several restaurants in the region, is organizing a new edition of the Les Garrigues Gastronomic Festival!

An event that year after year highlights the region's culinary richness, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy exclusive menus created by local restaurants using locally sourced produce, always cooked with extra virgin olive oil from our land.

Over the years, the Regional Council's goal has been to promote and highlight the cuisine of our region, as well as the establishments that make it possible. As is tradition, the Les Garrigues Gastronomic Festival takes place between early November and mid-December. It is organized around this time to coincide with the arrival of the new olive oil, as the olive harvest in the region typically begins between October and November.

At the end of the Mostra, a batch of typical products from the region (oil, wine, nuts, honey, among others) is raffled off among all the diners of each restaurant who have filled out the ticket.

We propose to the diners of the Mostra to discover the region visiting oleotourism experiences with various producers and artisans of the territory, the paintings of the Rock Ensemble of the Roca de los Moros del Cogul, a World Heritage Site, with the immersive experience "The Eyes of History", the Iberian Fortress of its streets and its Vilars d'Arbe castles of the region such as Albi, La Floresta, Espluga Calba and Arbeca, and dry stone constructions, such as the route of the vaulted cabins or the route of the lime kilns.

The Les Garrigues Gastronomic Festival is the result of the participation and efforts of the region's restaurateurs, who delight you with dishes prepared with enthusiasm and professionalism, so that everyone who tries them can experience the aromas of Les Garrigues.
