Chestnut Festival and Halloween in Santa Cristina d'Aro

Come and experience the Castañada and Halloween in Santa Cristina d'Aro!

On October 29th and 30th, the Lugar de Encuentro Senior Citizens Association (Asociación de Personas Mayores Lugar de Encuentro) will hold a workshop , "Do you want to learn how to make panellets?" Registration is required by October 25th. Participants will learn how to make this traditional All Saints' Day dessert and will be able to take some home.

On Friday, October 31, the little ones will enjoy "La Castañada, el Pan de las Almas, del abuelo Batibull," a storytelling and puppet show with Albert Estengre, also taking place at the Local de la Gent Gran at 5:30 p.m., designed for children ages 4 and up.

The festival will culminate on Saturday, November 1st, with a day of fear and fun. Santa Cristina d'Aro will be transformed to host the 17th Tunnel of Terror, which will open at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the "Lloró / Teulera / M. Bufet Riviere" space. There will also be a terrifying tour through the town's streets, organized by the Crit o Confit group, which promises thrills and plenty of surprises.

To recharge your batteries after all the adrenaline, there will be a Popular Chestnut Festival in Plaza Mn. Baldiri Reixac from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (while supplies last), where you can sample chestnuts and muscatel in a festive atmosphere.

A program that combines the sweetest tradition of the Castañada with the most terrifying spirit of Halloween, turning these days into an unforgettable celebration for all audiences.
