Artichoke Festival in Sant Boi de Llobregat
The artichoke is the star agricultural product of Sant Boi de Llobregat, and has already become one of the city's greatest symbols.
It began in 2000 and has become a highly popular event. Its central elements are a tasting of dishes made with artichokes as the main ingredient and a cooking competition.
The Carxofada festival offers a day packed with activities. There will be a lace-making gathering, as well as various workshops and cooking demonstrations related to artichokes. You can also purchase authentic Santboiana artichokes at the Santboiana Agricultural Cooperative's stand. And enjoy live music once the event is over.
Furthermore, the celebration takes place within the Artichoke Month, in which several restaurants in the municipality offer dishes made with Sant Boi artichokes on their menus.
We're waiting for you!
