Santa Bárbara Festival inVallfogona de Riucorb!

The Feast of Saint Barbara will be celebrated in Vallfogona de Riucorb, an event that promises to be a day full of activities and traditions. The festivities will begin with a mass at the Parish Church of Santa Mari at 12:00 noon, where attendees can enjoy a moment of reflection and community.

Activities of the day

After the mass, at 2:00 p.m., a meal will be served at the Hotel Balneari de Vallfogona. The menu is varied and includes:

• Cold and hot appetizers: French fries, whipped cream, olives, mini ham croquettes, fried squid, empanadas, calamari.
• First courses (choose one): caramelized goat cheese salad, XXL lobster cannelloni, cod spill, tempura vegetables with romesco sauce.
• According to dishes (to choose): stuffed chicken round, oven-baked lamb shoulder, oven-baked sea bream with potatoes, monkfish tails in a marinara sauce.
• Dessert (choose one): homemade egg custard with cream, coulant, crema catalana, honey and ricotta.

Dance and raffle

After lunch, attendees can enjoy a dance with Variedades 2020, featuring a performance by Apocadixie-2 with Auros Band. There will also be a raffle for a gift basket to support the 3cat Marathon, an opportunity to contribute to a charitable cause while enjoying the festivities.
