Festival of Pinedes de l'Armengol
The Festival of Pinedes de l'Armengol (La Torre de Claramunt) arrives one more year with a lot of activities for all audiences!
An opportunity to discover Pinedes de l'Armengol, the urbanization that extends to the west of the municipal area. The origin of that name is unknown. Before being urbanized, the property of this mountain had been dedicated to the cultivation of the vineyard. Over time, this activity was abandoned and led to the development of a pine forest at the beginning of the 20th century.
The place name "Armengol" has been known since at least the beginning of the 20th century, possibly in reference to one of the owners of the mountain. There is the memory of the Fuente del Armengol, an old fountain and one of the most important in the municipal area, at least since the 1930s.
