Medieval Market in Almenar
Every second weekend in June the Almenar Medieval Market takes place!
In 1997, the 850th anniversary of the granting of the Carta Pobla (Town Charter) to the residents of Almenar was commemorated with the holding of the first Medieval Market in the old town, where residents, dressed in period clothing, participated in demonstrations of medieval crafts.
Every year, we continue to offer exhibitions, performances, dinners, and many other activities, all with a medieval theme and the same passion as the first day. There are activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, for visitors and residents alike. For one weekend, the town transforms, and the streets are filled with color and celebration.
