Mushroom Festival in Guardiola de Berguedà

Don't miss the Mushroom Festival in the Joan Arocas square in Guardiola de Berguedà once again this year!

Over the weekend, Plaza Joan Arocas will become the focal point of this event, bringing together residents, visitors, and local establishments for a flavorful and sociable experience.

On Saturday, the festivities will begin with the "Correbolet," a gastronomic offering that invites participants to tour the town's various bars and restaurants , sampling mushroom pinchos. Once the route is complete, participants can gather in Plaça Joan Arocas to enjoy dessert and live music by the band La Briva, which will add a festive touch to the evening.

On Sunday the 19th, the event will be more family-oriented and participatory. At 11:30 a.m., the little ones will be the stars of the show, creating a children's mural in collaboration with the Escola Sant Llorenç. This will be followed by a workshop and stick dancing led by the Colla Bastonera de Cerdanya, keeping alive one of the region's most deeply rooted traditions.

The morning will culminate with a mushroom cooking competition, where participants will showcase their dishes in the square. After a tasting and public voting, the awards ceremony will take place.
