Gresolet gathering in Saldes

The Aplec de la Virgen de Gresolet in Saldes is back for another year!

The morning will begin with the arrival of the livestock from the mountains, one of the most emblematic moments of the celebration. Following this, the livestock fair and exhibition will open, offering a great opportunity to learn about the world of livestock and its traditional importance to the local economy and landscape.

The day will continue with the more solemn and traditional events, including a mass and a sardana dance. Afterwards, it will be time to share a communal lunch, for which each attendee should bring their own food.

In the afternoon, music will take center stage with a grand dance, allowing the celebration to continue in a relaxed atmosphere. During the break, there will also be raffles and coca (a type of flatbread) and muscatel wine will be served, thus maintaining some of the most deeply rooted traditions of the festival.

The proposal combines livestock farming, popular culture, gastronomy and music in a day designed to be enjoyed without haste and to rediscover the rural character of Saldes.

In case of rain, the afternoon dance will be moved to the Saldes Civic Center, thus ensuring the continuity of the celebration.
