Mountainbike Raid in Cal Marçal, Puig-reig
The Cal Marçal Mountain Bike Raid, held in Puig-reig, in the heart of the Berguedà region, is a must-do event for mountain biking enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. This race combines sport, nature, and fun in a stunning setting, offering options adapted to different skill levels, from children to the most experienced cyclists.
The event features three options. The Mini Raid, with 12 kilometers and 250 meters of elevation gain, is designed especially for young cyclists and participants new to mountain biking. With an easy route along forest tracks and short sections of asphalt and trail, it's an accessible and family-friendly experience.
The second option is the Pedalada, a 25-kilometer route with 700 meters of elevation gain. With a moderate difficulty level, it combines medium-level trails and forest tracks, ideal for mountain bikers who enjoy the ride on weekends and are looking for a balanced challenge between effort and fun.
For the more adventurous, the full Raid is the star attraction: 35 kilometers with 900 meters of elevation gain and technical sections that test the participants' skills. With 80% of the route on trails full of twists and turns, this option is perfect for those who want to experience the true essence of mountain biking.
In addition to the routes, the event offers top-notch services: aid stations along the way, a full breakfast upon arrival, showers, bike cleaning, timing, and a souvenir photo. All participants will receive a personalized race number (if registered before September 28th) and a small gift.
With a limit of 500 participants, the RAID-BTT Cal Marçal has established itself as an event that unites sport, brotherhood and territory, inviting everyone to experience an intense day on wheels.
Don't miss it!
