Santa Cristina de Aro celebrates Sant Jordi's Day with a day full of activities in Plaza Mn. Baldiri Reixac.
The festival begins with a reading aloud by the Reading Group of the Gent Gran Association, followed by a sardana performance with the Cobla Mediterrània. In the afternoon, music takes to the streets with a parade by the Music School's Marching Band, and then comes one of the most eagerly awaited moments for the little ones: the dragon snack, where everyone can bring bread, apples, lettuce, or cookies.
The children's show, "Walking the Dragon," by Patawa Company, will spark imaginations before the Mercè Rodoreda Children's Writing Competition Awards ceremony. The celebration will conclude with a hot chocolate party. Throughout the day, there will be book stalls, rose stalls, craft stalls, and author signings.
