Vertical Montserrat 2025
The Vertical Montserrat is a solidarity race with an individual start, where the participant must ascend using the service stairs located next to the two Montserrat funiculars, starting from the lower station of the Santa Cova funicular until reaching the upper station of the San Juan. There is a connecting section of 80 meters between both funiculars that does not have stairs.
All the benefits of the race, the challenges and the associated activities will be added to the Bombers amb Causa initiative, which allocates the proceeds to different research projects on childhood diseases and care programs for children at risk that the Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu performs in the different hospitals and centers it has in Catalonia.
An exclusive solidarity race, limited to a few athletes, in a unique environment admired internationally, and with an extreme route. The Vertical Montserrat is part of the National Vertical Racing Circuit.
