Vallclara
The town of Vallclara (625 m) is on the left slope of the valley of the river of Milans, or Vallclara, under the ruins of the old castle, extended along the old road from Vimbodí to Vilanova de Prades, which in this sector receives the name of Calle Mayor; Formerly it was walled and was accessed through the Vimbodí portal and the Font Vella (the old bridge built over the ravine still remains). Some houses still have beautiful voussoired doorways dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The town celebrates its festival in August.
Of the old castle of Vallclara, only the cover of the first enclosure and some wall locks remain.
