Vila-rodona
The Vila-rodona Town Hall is located in a building built during the second half of the 19th century and which the owners of the municipality decided to build to install the Town Hall and other municipal services there. Vila-rodona is a town marked by wine culture and modernist tradition.
The Villa de Vila-rodona House is a building located between party walls, on the corner of Carrer de la Font and consisting of a ground floor, two floors and a roof terrace. The two facades are symmetrical, but the entrance has more careful finishes.
It was built during the second half of the 19th century. In 1856 the main owners of the municipality decided to build a building to house the Town Hall and other municipal services. The works began in 1870 and lasted for almost a decade.
Vila-rodona offers the visitor a layout of locations that guide him through the most characteristic features of the municipality: wine culture, modernist tradition, archaeological heritage, respect for the agricultural idiosyncrasy of the area and, associated with it, first-rate gastronomy.
