Autumn fair in Castellví de Rosanes

Agriculture and crafts come together at the Castellví de Rosanes Autumn Fair, held annually at the end of November. From ten in the morning, the town square becomes the hub of a day designed for all ages, with activities that combine the value of local products, history, and community life.

The fair will begin with a communal breakfast to start the day off right, followed by the opening of the craft and local produce stalls. Artisans will be on hand to demonstrate their skills, such as Dolors Casellas Ariño with her wool felt work, and visitors will also be able to purchase locally sourced products made with care and authenticity. Throughout the morning, APECRO will hold a charity raffle to benefit La Marató de 3Cat and will offer visitors small bottles of olive oil as a souvenir of the day.

The youngest attendees will have their own space with a family workshop on creating handmade bookmarks, an activity that fosters creativity and family participation. At 12:30 pm, the Giants of Castellví, Guillem and Ermesenda, will celebrate their 30th anniversary with a commemorative event that will thrill both young and old. And, to round off the morning, at 1:30 pm, a tasting of wild boar civet, courtesy of AEPECRO, will be offered—a classic much anticipated by those present.

The afternoon will continue with the premiere of the documentary about the Aplec dels Àngels, within the Ethnographic Film Festival of Catalonia, followed by a discussion that invites reflection on the history and evolution of this local tradition.

The celebrations are complemented by other activities during the morning and workshops for the whole family.
